Farrukh founded Wellfleet Software in 2006. He is a specialist in the areas of information modeling, metadata and content management using ontologies, catalog, registry and repository standards and technologies. He is the architect behind several XML and Java open standards developed at OASIS, OGC and JCP. He is also a key contributor to many open source projects several of which implement the open standards he helped develop.

He has decades of experience in:

  • Generating innovative ideas
  • Codifying ideas into open standards
  • Implementing open standards into open source and commercial software
  • Helping customers successfully deploy solutions based on these open source and commercial software.
